What happens

Rotate: what changes

Rotation redraws decoded pixels at a new orientation. Quarter-turn rotations swap width and height while a 180-degree rotation keeps the same dimensions. Animated GIF is decoded and rotated one frame at a time instead of being flattened to a still image.
