Watermark: what changes
Watermarking draws an ordered stack of text and selected local logo marks onto every selected still image or every frame of an animated GIF. Each mark keeps its own size, opacity, position, rotation and one-position or repeated coverage while one preview shows the complete draw order.

Before you download
- A flattened watermark cannot be removed cleanly from the downloaded copy.
- A visible watermark can still be cropped, covered or edited and is not a protection guarantee.
- Low opacity may become hard to read after additional compression or resizing.
- GIF uses a limited palette and one-bit transparency, so colours and transparent edges can change slightly during GIF encoding.

Yes. Add text or a selected local logo again to build one ordered stack, then adjust or reorder each mark independently before applying it.
How can I keep text readable on a busy photo?
Choose a shadow or backing plate, then set its color independently from the text color. The same treatment is applied across the batch.
Can I repeat the watermark across the image?
Yes. Choose Repeat across image to use the same staggered pattern in the preview, every still result and every frame of an animated GIF.
Can I watermark several images at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 images, review the shared watermark settings, then download results separately or together as a ZIP.
Can one image use different watermark positions?
Yes. Keep mark content, size, opacity, coverage and order shared, then choose This image to change the selected mark's position or rotation for only that source.
Does the watermark preserve transparency?
PNG and WebP can preserve transparent background pixels; JPG cannot. GIF keeps one-bit transparency, so partly transparent edges are encoded as either transparent or opaque.
Will a watermarked GIF stay animated?
Yes. PixHandy applies the mark to every decoded frame and preserves the source frame order, delays and loop setting.
